The collaboration aims to boost the pool of skilled resources available in the Human Resource Management sector through MasterCamps. Smart, engaging, and result-driven, MasterCamp programmes expose students to real-life complexities enriching their worldview, and expanding their integrated technological insight and skill set.

The ‘Great Resignation’, a pandemic-induced phenomenon which resulted in a large number of employees voluntarily quitting their jobs over the past couple of years, has led to an increase in demand for remote work and flexible working arrangements. As a ripple effect, recruitment and retention of top talent have become even more competitive. HR, as a function, is expected to play a critical role in embracing these changing trends to enable companies to navigate the complex talent market and develop effective talent retention strategies. This strategic partnership has set out to address the same glaring gap.

Pratham Mittal, Founder, Masters’ Union, said, “The demand for skilled HR in India is growing, and with KPMG in India as our partner, we are confident to make a significant impact in the field. It’s great to see organisations recognising the importance of skill-based learning in the current environment. The pandemic has accelerated the shift towards technology, making it vital that professionals have the latest skills to meet the growing market demands. By partnering with a reputable firm like KPMG in India, we are not only providing students with the skills and knowledge to succeed in today's rapidly changing job market, but we are also creating a talent pool of well-equipped professionals who can help businesses grow”.

Open to HR professionals with a bachelor’s degree across fields and a work experience of over 2 years, the programme is skill-driven and has a job-relevant curriculum designed and delivered by KPMG India practitioners. It aims to empower young professionals to develop advanced skills through hands-on training. The 6-month Human Resource Management programme is aimed at building core HR skills through assignments on recruiting, onboarding, negotiating, formulating HR policies, building training programmes, etc. The programme will help students expand their skill sets with disruptive technologies and platforms like HRMS, LMS, ATS, PowerBI, LinkedIn, and Naukri.com.
