New Delhi: Google Inc has offered two students of Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, pay packages worth Rs 2 crore each including stock options. The two, Araknath Pathak and Abhishek Pant, top the computer science and engineering department with an above-average cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 9.3.

Last year's highest pre-placement offer (PPO) at IIT Kharagpur of Rs 1.5 crore also came from Google.

Of the 340 students offered intern ships this year, more than 170 have already got placed compared with 88 PPOs received last year.
