Let operational burdens not come in the way of mentorship
It is important for an organisation to have the guts to continue a mentorship program despite all odds. For example, a company should not put off a sales training just because the numbers for the week are low.
I’ve had the good fortune of having several great mentors and true mentorship to me is a commitment far beyond operational issues. The success of mentorship depends on how an organisation is able to drive the message that if the organisation wins, the individual always wins. But the reverse is not always true.
