In its effort to acknowledge and honor great contributions to the state of Odisha, OdishaDiary - the pioneer in online news on Odisha has instituted the prestigious Odisha Living Legend Awards. With an objective to build future legends, the award this year was awarded to 13 luminaries and one corporate house in 14 categories that made unique contribution to different walks of life in the state. The awardees include HR stalwarts Dr. Santrupt Misra and Bimal Rath. Dr. Santrupta Misra received the award for his decades of excellent work in business leadership. Bimal Rath received the award for his excellent work in the field of business entrepreneurship. Besides Dr Misra and Bimal Rath who are doyens of the HR fraternity, the other awardees were veterans from the field of art & culture, literature, education, journalism, social service and human rights. Second year in a row, the Odisha Living Legends Award along with Youth Inspiration Awards was presented on the seventh foundation day celebration of OdishaDiary.
