InterviewDesk (ID), an on-demand technical interviewing platform, announced today that it raised an undisclosed amount in seed funding led by Sugumar Natarajan, Executive Director, Anil Foods and angel investors including the former Amazon leader Lakshminarayanan Venkatajalam, Former Amazon Recruiting Leader Karthick Chandran.

Former Amazonian, Pichumani Durairaj, founded InterviewDesk in 2018 with the mission to eliminate inefficiencies in the corporate hiring process. 

The HR tech startup, which closed the funding couple of weeks back, plans to use funds to strengthen the engineering and business teams to build the tech that empowers the platform, the company announced.

“In today’s world, companies are looking for ways to scale up their hiring process for their never-ending resource need. InterviewDesk’s focus is to help companies hire quality talents faster with the balanced intervention of humans and tech,” said Pichumani Durairaj.

In the financial year 2022, InterviewDesk has seen a growth of 400% year-on-year, according to the company statement. Its clients include companies such as Ally, Byjus, Rupeek, Jupiter Money, Glossier, Coin Switch Kuber and Jubilant FoodWorks.

“We are confident InterviewDesk will emerge as a great solution provider thereby impacting many candidates to land their dream jobs and for companies to find their missionaries”, said Sugumar Natarajan, Executive Director, Anil Foods.
