Boeing promotes Avinash Kohli to lead a global HR role

Avinash Kohli, Country HR Leader for Boeing India has moved to a global role within the organization as Director of Leadership Development, Learning and Organizational Capability for all non-US locations. He will be based in Singapore and lead organizational culture and change initiatives for international markets and create a global model for learning and development. 

Avi joined Boeing in 2016 as the HR Head for India and prior to that held a broad set of HR leadership positions with GE and Citibank in the areas of HR Strategy & Business Partnership, Organization & Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits and Leadership Development & Training.

In his capacity as Head of HR at Boeing, he was key in setting the foundation for the rapid scale-up of the organization in India including a nearly twenty-fold increase in the workforce at their engineering and technology center in Bangalore. 

He is a graduate of GE’s HR Leadership Program and received his master’s degree in HR & Organization Development from the University of Delhi. Avi is an active member of the National HRD Network and is an ex-Secretary of the Delhi Chapter. He was also identified as a Top 25 Future HR Leaders by People Matters in 2012 as part of the People Matters Are You in the List initiative.
