Byjus Tuition Center has appointed Kohler’s former Global Head of Learning and Development Indraneel Kumar Das as the AVP & Head- L&D.

In an exclusive interaction with People Matters, Indraneel shared that he is looking forward to leading with a ‘meaningful purpose’ in this new world. He is looking for a new challenge that can help him broaden his experience. 

“I believe this change of industry will do just that. With my skill set and experience, this would give me an opportunity to build innovative phygital learning solutions for young India.,” Indraneel said.

He was associated with Kohler for over eight years, prior to which he also worked for PepsiCo and Raymond. Commenting on his tenure with Kohler, he said, “My journey with Kohler has really been fantastic and the opportunities I’ve been given I am incredibly grateful for – they were all tapping on my strengths & at right times. I’ve experienced a steady & exciting journey over the last eight years- from building sales capability for a small team to leadership & culture building of 35K+ associates around the globe. In terms of personal growth, the past 18 months have been the most significant for me- managing a teal team to create a globally significant #loveforlearning culture at Kohler Co.”

Indraneel further stated that delegation and empowerment are the key factors driving his style of leadership. He added, “I will take these to my next organization & strive to bring agile decision making in a collaborative environment keeping customer centricity paramount to whatever we do… Overall, through these dollops of consumer delight, I want to change the way India learns through Byju’s- one class at a time.”
