Vikram Bector to quit Reliance Industries?

It is being speculated that the chief talent officer, Reliance Industries, Vikram Bector, is ready to end his journey with the group. However, the reliance spokesperson we contacted refused to either confirm or deny the development. This would be the fourth big exit in Reliance Group this year. Prabir Jha, the group CHRO, had exited the organization in August after which Reliance Industries made Hetal R Meswani, an executive director of the group, the head of the HR function.
Hetal R Meswani happens to be Mukesh Ambani's cousin.

Following Jha’s exit, two more high-level executives from the Human Resources Department - Harlina Sodhi and Rajeev Ranjan - quit RIL in September. While Sodhi was the senior vice president and head of employee engagement, communication, diversity, HR Academy and change management, Ranjan was vice-president, HR, Reliance Foundation.

Prior to joining Reliance Industries, Bector was the chief learning officer and head of talent management at Tata Motors. Before Tata Motors, he was associated with Deloitte as the chief learning officer & Vice President of talent development for 2 years.

Vikram Bector completed his MBA in marketing and finance from Punjab Agricultural University. His first venture as a management professional was with NIS Sparta as a trainer in 1996.

Bector has earned himself the reputation as a great leader for his significant contribution in training, organization development, leadership development and employee engagement. In his career of over 25 years, he has worked in diverse segments like BFSI, healthcare, IT consulting and office automation.
