Rupini Raman is joining Yulu as the head of human resources, the Bengaluru-based shared electric mobility company announced today. 

A seasoned HR professional with a rich experience in building organisation capability for global brands across international markets, Raman’s key responsibilities in her new role will include building Yulu into a preferred employer brand, scaling up the talent pool, and creating an inclusive, enriching and progressive work culture.

Rupini comes with more than 17 years of experience in HR and organisational development (in many sectors, including fintech, ITES, financial services, logistics and hospitality. 

“Rupini’s arrival is a key addition to our leadership strength. As we enter into a pivotal phase of multi-X growth, starting with a 10X expansion plan for 2022, getting our people strategy right will be a critical success factor. With her rich experience, Rupini will anchor Yulu’s HR strategy and vision, build organisation capability to attract and retain the best talent, and create a great working culture at Yulu,” said Amit Gupta, CEO and co-founder – Yulu.

In her last stint, Rupini was the head of HR at fintech start-up Vivriti Capital through its high-growth phase, and created an ecosystem for large-scale, high-skilled talent acquisition. 

Earlier, she was the head of rewards and talent management division at Agility, where she oversaw the HR functions for over 6000 employees spread across the Middle East, Africa and EU regions. She has also been associated with global brands like RR Donnelley, Hutchison Whampoa and American Express.
