TCS CEO N Chandrasekaran salary up by 14%

Tata Consultancy Services CEO N Chandrasekaran has received a 14% hike in total salary for FY15, with his annual compensation reaching Rs 21.28 crore from Rs 18.68 crore in FY14. Chandrasekaran, who took over as CEO at India’s largest IT services exporter in 2009, received a salary of Rs 1.79 crore, allowances and perquisites of Rs 3.48 crore and a hefty commission of Rs 16 crore. Chandrasekaran’ compensation accounts for 0.03% of TCS’ revenue. The other highest-paid executive at the company is CFO Rajesh Gopinathan, with a total compensation of Rs 2.15 crore.
