PeopleStrong acquires Capabiliti and launches Alt Learning

To strengthen the talent management offering and to provide more avenues to its customers, PeopleStrong, SaaS HR Technology and Solutions company has acquired Capabiliti by Qustn Technologies for an undisclosed amount. Capabiliti’s mobile-first learning is integrated with PeopleStrong’s Alt platform and will be offered as Alt learning to the customers globally.

Pankaj Bansal, Founder and CEO, PeopleStrong believes that Alt learning will further help in enhancing PeopleStrong Alt, and create an end to end offering for their customers. He said, “We are excited to welcome the Capabiliti team into the PeopleStrong family. They have built a strong product and top-quality team.”

Capabiliti is a SaaS platform which allows companies to set up and deliver any type of training. It was established in Oct 2014, by Mrigank Tripathi and Sachin Grover and has many Indian and global clients.

Subsequent to the acquisition, Capabiliti’s mobile-first learning will be integrated with PeopleStrong’s Alt platform and will be available to the PeopleStrong customers globally. And their team will join the product group of PeopleStrong. Mrigank Tripathi will be a part of the leadership team and will lead the go to market initiatives for PeopleStrong’s Human Capital Management business.

PeopleStrong has made its fifth strategic investment by acquiring Capabiliti.  In January this year, PeopleStrong had also acquired a referral hiring platform, Grownout to strengthen their Machine Learning offerings. Besides acquisitions PeopleStrong also received some investment this year as Bhavin Turakhia, serial technology entrepreneur invested an undisclosed amount in the company, holding a small equity stake. 

Speaking about the latest investment Vishal Saha, Founding Member and Chief Technology officer, PeopleStrong shared, “We have a vision of simplifying the work-life of our clients and their employees by providing anything and everything they need to manage their workforce. With Capabiliti joining the product family, our talent management offering would get further strengthened”.

This year the HR technology company, PeopleStrong also launched a matchmaking product tool powered by machine learning, ‘Alt Recruit’ and an HR App store called ‘Alt One’.  The company has an order book of 500 Cr+ and has been growing at a CAGR of 60 percent for over a decade.
