Loyalty slipping: Top performers more likely to jump ship

Although the economy is moving on the road of recovery, but according to a survey by Watson Wyatt, 14% of the top performers are less likely to stay with their current employers. The survey shows that it’s been a rough year for many employees but the top performers are the one’s who are taking it the hardest. Apart from this there are possibilities that most workers are planning to ask for a raise once the economy recovers, and it’s clear that the employers have to take some action. The two most important aspects that the employers must take care of in order to control this situation are to make sure that their employees are aware of the retention efforts that are being made and be transparent in decisions related to any change in salary structures and should give a honest and detailed explanation for the same.
