Most of the premier business schools in India have developed their education systems, such as organisation, syllabus, and type of education modelled on American business schools. As a result, most Indian B school graduates are looking for cushy jobs in the finance, consulting, or IT sector. A certain percentage is also looking at entrepreneurship careers. India, however, needs talented people in the manufacturing sector and these business schools should have their education system designed to train students for a career in manufacturing. Every talent should start thinking about sacrificing the comfort of air conditioning and taking up careers in the tough and challenging environment of manufacturing.
