Subrat Kumar appointed as executive director for Bank of India

With over 27 years of experience in commercial banks and asset management companies, Kumar took a new role at the Bank of India on November 21.
Subrat Kumar appointed as executive director for Bank of India

Subrat Kumar has been appointed as executive director for the Bank of India, a public sector bank.

Kumar, a qualified banker with a BSc, MBA, and CAIIB assumed charge on November 21, 2022. He has over 27 years of experience in commercial banks and asset management companies.

During his long stint in the banking industry, he gained extensive experience in all facets of operational and strategic banking, with a focus on treasury and investment banking, risk management, credit monitoring, and corporate banking.

Earlier, he worked as regional head, Patna, head of treasury management, audit and inspection, credit monitoring, and corporate credit. He also served as the bank's chief risk officer (eVB) and chief financial officer (CFO).

In addition, he served on the boards of Fixed Income Money Market and Derivatives Association of India (FIMMDA) and BoB Capital Markets Ltd.
