Kerala-based Dhanlaxmi Bank has announced the appointment of Ajith Kumar KK as Managing Director (MD) of the bank. Ajith will take the responsibility on June 20, the bank informed in a regulatory filing.

His appointment will be effective for three years. Ajith’s appointment to the post has been approved by the board at its meeting. 

A seasoned banking professional, Ajith comes with more than 36 years of experience with the Federal Bank in various facets of banking including Credit, Human Resources, Business, Branch Banking etc. In his previous role, he served Federal Bank as President and Chief Human Resources Officer. He is based in Kochi.
