Motilal Oswal Financial Services has appointed Niren Srivastava as group CHRO. His appointment to the post is effective from February.

Srivastava comes with over 19 years of experience in human resources function in financial services across life and health insurance, mutual funds, and banking organisations.

He has experience handling key aspects of HR function, including HR business partnership, HRIT systems, organisational frameworks & span of controls, strategic workforce planning, industry & market benchmarking of HR practices, employee benefits and employee engagement, HR policies and processes.

Before joining Motilal Oswal Financial Services, Srivastava worked with Aditya Birla Health Insurance Company Limited as EVP & Head - Human Resources, L&D and administration.

An alumnus of IBS, Hyderabad, Srivastava also holds a Hogan Assessments Certification.

He started his professional journey in 2005 as deputy manager – HR at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Limited in 2005. He also worked with Yes Bank for a period of more than two years.
