ShareChat appoints Anurag Verma as head of people and culture

ShareChat, a homegrown social media company, has appointed Anurag Verma as the head, of people and culture. 

At ShareChat, Anurag will lead the People function building on the talent acquisition, HR strategy and process, talent management and total rewards functions. He will be responsible for driving organisational excellence, and creating a dynamic and inclusive workplace that empowers employees to innovate and thrive. His experience and vision will be instrumental in attracting top talent, providing professional growth opportunities, and nurturing a culture of creativity, collaboration, and performance.

Anurag has joined ShareChat with an extensive experience of over 27 years. Before joining SharChat, he was associated with the conversational AI company, Uniphore as the vice president-people. He has also worked with e-commerce and telecom giants like Flipkart, India Telecom Infra Limited (ITIL) and Airtel where he was in leadership roles in HR. Additionally, his previous stints also include Maharishi Group, Sylvan Learning, Visisht Group, among others.
