Veeam appoints Kacy Hassack as Chief People and Culture Officer

Data protection and ransomware recovery company Veeam Software has announced the appointment of Kacy Hassack as the company’s Chief People and Culture Officer.

In her new role at Veeam, Kacy will be responsible for attracting and nurturing talent, leadership development, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and employee engagement.

Kacy has joined Veeam with over two decades of experience in human resources in multiple regions, including the US, Central America, and Asia Pacific. Before joining Veeam, she held leadership roles at global technology organisations, including Indeed, Amazon Web Services, Hewlett Packard, and Dell.

“Great businesses start with great people,” said Kacy Hassack. She has a plan to collaborate with teams across the company to develop strategies that emphasise the value of employees and new approaches to enable people to do their best work.

“Kacy combines a strong track record of creating the best outcomes for employees with the business acumen and passion people need,” said Anand Eswaran, CEO at Veeam.
