Bangalore stands out as one of India's booming Cities

In a report released by financial services firm Morgan Stanley on how India's upcoming cities cope with problems from infrastructure to job creation, tech hub Bangalore has topped the list. The findings of the report are based on a ‘City Vibrancy Index (CVI)’ which essentially measures the key drivers of urbanisation like a city’s infrastructure, job opportunities, modern consumer services and a city's ability to mobilise savings. Mysore placed second while Pune and Hyderabad came third and fourth respectively. Delhi came eighth while Mumbai ranked a disappointing twenty first place in the report.

Incidentally the speed and scale of urban transformation expected over the next two decades in India has not happened anywhere except China with regards to population and GDP.
