The Center has decided to amend rules to check arbitrary suspension of IAS, IPS, and IFoS officials. The information of suspension has to be immediately communicated to the Center by the fastest means. The Department of Personnel and Training has written to all state governments and cadre-controlling authorities seeking comments on the proposed changes.
