Indian employees still less confident than their BRIC counterparts

As per a recent study conducted by HR Solutions provider Kanexa, the level of confidence in the future of their company has improved among Indian employees in the second quarter of 2009 due to easing of economic turmoil and hopes of revival. However, despite improvement in their level of confidence as compared to the past, Indian employees are still at the bottom of the list among their counterparts in other BRIC countries. The employee confidence index for India during second quarter stood at 99.6 which is below that of other developing nations such as Brazil (107.2), China (102.3) and Russia (100.9) even though above the global average at 98.9.
