Jet Airways chief Gary Kenneth Toomey quits

Six months after he joined Jet Airways as its CEO, Gary Toomey quit the airline on Thursday, becoming the second CEO and the sixth senior executive to leave since the airline announced its deal with Abu Dhabi's Etihad Airways last April. "Ravishankar Gopalakrishnan, the chief financial officer (CFO), will officiate as the acting chief executive officer of the company till the board identifies and appoints a new CEO," Jet said in an announcement to the BSE.
