To enrich overall learning experience for working professionals in the company, Simplilearn has appointed Anand Narayanan as Vice-President – Product and Engineering. In his capacity, Anand will be responsible for driving product innovation and engineering to augment the learning knowhow of the employees.

Anand joins Simplilearn from Rackspace, a leading managed cloud company based in San Antonio, Texas, where he was heading the cloud compute product portfolio for the public cloud business division. Prior to Rackspace, Anand worked with Dell for 7 years, where he championed the delivery of server and storage solutions for the enterprise portfolio while leading the modernization of the overall engineering function through integrated Agile methodologies.

He started his career at National Instruments as a programmer before moving on to engineering management roles. Anand completed his graduation in Computer Engineering from NIIT Surathkal and then went on to do his Masters in Computer Science from Texas A&M University and MBA from The University of Texas.  

In November 2015, Simplilearn’s product and engineering teams launched Flexi-Pass, a major learning breakthrough that combines the interactivity of classrooms and on-demand convenience of e-learning, providing learners’ unparalleled flexibility in choosing from multiple live instructor led training.  The company also launched Paper Clip, a new Learning Management System (LMS), which has translated into an industry best 80% course completion rate.

Strengthening its presence in the US, Simplilearn recently appointed Ray Rike as President, Simplilearn Americas, who is based out of the company’s headquarters in San Francisco Bay Area, to oversee all aspects of the Enterprise Business including marketing, sales, operations, and customer successes.
