SoftBank ropes in ex-LinkedIn executive Deep Nishar
Now, SoftBank has tapped Nishar for his deep connections in the world's largest technology hub — The Silicon Valley — at a time when the Japanese firm faces a shrinking domestic market.
Many people in the technology world know Deep Nishar for his integral role in making LinkedIn what it is today. Nishar, who was head of products at Linkedin, has grown the professional networking-website's user base from about 30 million in 2009 to more than 340 million now. Now, SoftBank has tapped Nishar for his deep connections in the world's largest technology hub — The Silicon Valley — at a time when the Japanese firm faces a shrinking domestic market.
