V Balaji steps down as COO of Pricol

Balaji has experience of thirty years in the industry and at Pricol, he was responsible for heading the whole operations of the company.

Auto component company Pricol announced that the Chief Operating Officer (COO) V Balaji Chinnappan has stepped down from his position to become an entrepreneur. 

According to a report published by the Economic Times, throughout his career, Balaji presented papers around several topics such as Low Cost Automation, Lean Manufacturing, Strategic Planning and Management, Best Practices in Industries in the National and International Conferences. Additionally, he has designed and developed more than 50 Special Purpose Machines for auto components manufacturing and assembly. 

"As I am planning to pursue becoming an entrepreneur, I hereby submit my resignation from the position of Whole Time Directorship of the Company with effect from 8th November 8, 2021, end of business hours, and request to relieve me of my duties as Whole Time Director from the said date,” Balaji said in a statement. 

Meanwhile, the company is yet to disclose who will succeed him.
