Japanese companies are raising monthly base salaries of employees in a trend that is spreading across the country. Japanese worker unions continued their demand of rising wages and these trends are a consequence of that. Most of the prominent global brands, such as Panasonic, Toyota, Nissan etc. have raised base pay for workers.
