Women fall behind men in pay

A study conducted by Catalyst highlights that women in the technology sector in India fall behind men in terms of pay though they start out at an equal footing. 12 years into their careers, women lag behind men by approximately Rs 3.8 lakh in terms of pay. Pay equity, equal access to development opportunities, and flexible work environment is the key to retaining women employees in India.
