Ahead of the assembly elections in the state on December 7th, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje has released the manifesto where she has promised jobs and allowance to the youths. 

The manifesto said that about 50 lakh jobs will be created in the private sector in the next five years in Rajasthan and every year, 30,000 jobs will be given in the government sector.

The manifesto also highlighted ‘unemployment allowance’ for youngsters. "Up to Rs 5,000 per month will be given to educated youths above the age of 21 years under certain terms and conditions.

In May 2018, the ruling part completed four years in the government. Data till May suggests, Around 31 million job seekers were still unemployed, and the situation is declining. According to the ILO report number of jobless in the country will increase to 18.3 million in 2018 and 18.9 million in 2019.

Since 2014, the BJP ( Bhartiya Janta Party) government or famously known as Modi government came up with various schemes to boost the job sectors such as Make in India, Mudra Loan Scheme, Swach Bharat, Digital India, Skill India and many others. The objective of all these schemes was to create jobs either directly or indirectly and to boost the employment in India.
