Job opportunities for Indian HR professionals on the rise
According to a recent study conducted by HR Research firm, Everest Group, the new HR outsourcing contracts doled out to Indian firms are likely to create increased job opportunities to Indian HR professionals. The firm forecasts that renewal of 111 HRO contracts worth $6 billion in 2010-12 would see a reduction in large market buyers of HR services but increase in mid-market segment which would seek expanded suppliers from the service providers. Consequently, this would lead to increased offshoring of HR services to India as it has a large number of HRO suppliers. The study also stresses that cost pressure would play a significant role in this shift.
