Left in the lurch in the legal wrangle in connection with the Nokia-Microsoft merger deal and concerned over the fast approaching March 31 deadline, the Nokia India workers' union has decided to seek legal recourse to safeguard jobs. With no clear response from the Nokia India management forthcoming despite attempts to get clarifications on the recent Supreme Court judgment as well as on guarantee of their jobs, the union also decided to move the Tamil Nadu labour department.
