Ericsson appoints Priyanka Anand as HR Head of SEA, Oceania and India

Priyanka Anand has replaced Ericsson's India region HR head Sameer Khanna to become the new human resources (HR) head for South East Asia, Oceania and India market area (MOAI)

From her first role at Ericsson of heading the HR function for the Global Service Delivery center, Priyanka Anand has now moved on to a much broader role as she now becomes the human resources (HR) head for South East Asia, Oceania and India market area (MOAI). Her new role will involve leading a diverse team of 60 resources spread over more than 10 countries. She would be driving the HR strategy across India, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Phillippines, Myanmar and Bangladesh amongst others. Her key focus areas would be on continuous organizational reshaping, developing agile leaders and transforming culture. 

"HR should be a strategic lever that enables a company to build a great work environment and achieve its business objectives. My main focus will be towards further developing and retaining world-class talent," said Priyanka Anand. 

She further looks forward to in build best in class HR strategy for the MOAI market area by utilizing the opportunity to interface and work with HR teams and stakeholders of different nationalities. 

Priyanka Anand has taken over this new role as the previous Ericsson's India region HR head Sameer Khanna, recently got relocated to the networks gear maker's Stockholm headquarters to manage global HR in the managed services domain across multiple geographies. 

Priyanka is an alumnus of Delhi University and has pursued her MBA in HR from Indian Institute of Planning and Management.  She has an experience of almost 19 years and has been part of Ericsson for almost 8 years. Before joining Ericsson she has previously worked with Colt Telecom and ManpowerGroup.
