Government to engage students in policymaking for education sector

Serious about engaging with the youth in government, the human resource development ministry has announced an internship programme, MHRD Internship Scheme 2014, for undergraduates, post graduates and research students. The programme will give interns an opportunity for active engagement with policymaking in the field of education. The idea is to involve young talent in government, especially in the education sector where they are the most important stakeholders. For the government, it provides an opportunity to bring in a fresh perspective into policymaking and implementation of initiatives of the sector.
