Govt funds BPOs in North East
The government is funding to fuel the business process industry in the North East. The North East and 2-3 tier towns are part of the Prime Minister’s priorities. BPO firms have also been requesting for more incentives to operate out of Tier 3 and 4 locations across the country. The move is expected to create about 5000 jobs in the region.
