Monster India, ITC join hands to create a jobsite for Indian villagers

After offering opportunities to hundreds of thousands of job seekers across the country, Monsterindia.com, an online job site, has joined hands with FMCG major, ITC to tap the rural job market in India. On 11 August, the two companies launched by the name “rozgarduniya.com” for employment seekers in rural regions of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. The website, available in both English and Hindi, can be accessed by village folk at e-Choupal kiosks, the internet based service chain for farmers. Like its urban counterpart, the website offers free service to job seekers in rural areas but charges a fee from the employers. According to Monster.com, the job applications would be rooted through e-Choupal Sanchakal and is meant exclusively for rural workers.
