Adani Group has appointed Sudhir Sharma as head of talent acquisition, Group HR, effective January. Bringing close to three decades of experience, Sudhir has joined Adani Group from Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he was responsible for the entire recruitment to onboarding cycle for two legal entities (KMBL / KMPL).

“After nearly five unforgettable years at Kotak Mahindra Bank, filled with incredible learning, collaboration, and a fair share of hiring marathons, it’s time to turn the page. I’m excited to announce my next professional quest as Head Talent Acquisition, Group HR at Adani Group!!,” Sudhir posted on Linkedin.

Based in Ahmedabad, he is expected to reshape talent strategies, build innovative hiring ecosystems, and drive transformational growth that aligns with Adani’s vision for the future.

The journey at Kotak for him was nothing short of transformative. “From navigating the post-pandemic hiring frenzy to scaling recruitment strategies, managing phenomenal teams, adapting innovative tools, analytical based hiring, creating EVP to attract leaders across the industry- it’s been a ride that has strengthened my resilience, strategic approach, and sense of humor!”, added Sudhir.

Randstad Sourceright, Capgemini, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, and HTC Global Services were other organisations where he worked previously.

He holds a Master’s in Personnel Management, Human Resources Management / Personnel Administration from the Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development (BVDU), Pune.
