Hotel chain startup, OYO Rooms announced the appointment of Prasidha Menon as the Head of Communications. She will be responsible for internal and external communications for OYO in India and other international markets. 

In her new role, she will drive OYO's reputation forward and deliver against the company's mission of redefining the future of living, through sustained corporate reputation management programs and targeted brand-building campaigns. 

Founder & CEO, OYO Hotels, Ritesh Agarwal strongly believes that preemptive communication is one of the top pillars for new-age mission-oriented companies looking to create a long-lasting impact on their stakeholders and the ecosystem at large.

On this development, he said, “With Prasidha taking on this mantle, we are certain that more and more people will second OYO’s mission of creating beautiful living spaces, for everyone, anywhere.’’

According to Prasidha Menon, OYO is one of the most mission-driven companies in  India that has changed the way, and the world defines good quality living spaces. Before joining the hotel chain startup, Prasidha was leading communications for Uber in India and South Asia. She has also worked in leading PR agencies, with the most recent being a stint with Edelman India as the technology account director. As a part of the leadership team, she will be entrusted with the responsibility of building and nurturing a high performing team and enabling an inclusive work culture in the organization. 

She holds a BA of Commerce (Honours), an MBA in Marketing & Finance.
