HGS makes a few key appointments to help drive its growth agenda

Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) has appointed a President and Chief Innovation Officer and Sr. Vice President for Global Corporate Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Diversity & Inclusion (D&I).

Natarajan Radhakrishnan will be the new President and Chief Innovation Officer, HGS, while Shilpa Sinha Harsh has been named as Sr. Vice President – Global Corporate Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Diversity and Inclusion.

Radhakrishnan brings in about 29 years of industry experience in diverse areas such as investment banking, information technology, consulting, solution/ IP development and business development. 

With expertise in aligning business and IT initiatives, change management and digital business transformation, he has held senior management positions in organizations like IBM, Capgemini, Cognizant and Deutsche Bank group. Sinha, on the other hand, has 20 years of experience in corporate communications, corporate marketing, sales enablement and talent acquisition branding, with core strengths in driving integrated marketing campaigns across geographies. Before HGS, Shilpa was working with [24]7.ai India and heading their Marketing Communications function and was part of the India Management team. She has also worked with Accenture, Adfactors PR, and LinOpinion, where she has handled strategic communication campaigns.

These two appointments will strengthen the current leadership team at HGS and help it driving its growth. The role of CIO will be extremely crucial as it has been newly designed to have someone take the responsibility for managing Enterprise IT and Automation, fostering innovation across the organization and developing new industry-oriented solutions. It is no news, how crucial innovation in today’s disruptive and uncertain business environment is. 

Highlighting how important staying innovative is for HGS Partha DeSarkar Global Chief Executive Officer, HGS said, “As HGS continues to grow with its clients in an evolving world, the varied experience of Natarajan and Shilpa will bring in a digital and technology-led approach to their functions and help HGS drive digital transformation to our stakeholders including clients and employees.”

While Radhakrishnan will focus on fostering innovation across the organization, Shilpa’s key responsibility will be to further strengthen the HGS brand across strategic areas such as media and industry relations, employee communications, digital communications, corporate branding, recruitment marketing, community relations and diversity, and inclusion.

Besides taking care of their respective functions, Radhakrishnan and Sinha will also be a part of HGS’ Global Advisory Council and participate in corporate strategy.

Currently, HGS has 44,567 employees across 75 delivery centers in seven countries who are working towards making a difference to some of the world’s leading brands across nine key verticals. With new roles in place, how HGS further grows its business and improves how it strengthens the brand across strategic areas and among all the stakeholders is to look forward to.
