Prashant Sharma has been promoted to President- Global Formulations Manufacturing & Operations by Zydus Cadila. Prashant has been with Zydus Cadila since 2009 and during the years has held several roles within the organization. Before the promotion, Prashant was the President- Global Human Resources & Corporate Communications where he managed the Global HR footprint.

In his new role, Prashant will be heading Global Manufacturing Operations for Formulations at Zydus Cadila. He holds a MBA degree in Materials Management from University of Pune and has worked with organizations like Xerox India, Apollo Tyres, Johnson & Johnson and DSM Sinochem Pharmaceuticals before joining Zydus Cadila in 2009 as Vice President- Global Demand & Supply Organization. 

Prashant is a member of Zydus Management Committee and has been in various business roles for over two decades. In a statement to People Matters he said "I take this as a great opportunity to learn and give back to Zydus which has invested in me for over the last 7 years taking me through experiences in Global Supply Chain, IT, Global HR & Corporate Communications, and now Global Manufacturing.”
