Shashwat Mitra has joined KPIT as Head of HR, India

Shashwat Mitra has joined KPIT as Head of HR, India

Shashwat K. Mitra has joined automotive software multinational KPIT as Head of Human Resources for India, effective 6 June. In his new role, he will work on key strategic initiatives to boost KPIT's ability to attract, retain and develop talent, including shaping the company's employer brand as a "Best Place to Grow".

He joined KPIT from digital transformation services firm AppDirect, where he was Director of Human Resources. Prior to that, he was Head of HR for the Cummins Inc. Global Analytics Centre and also led strategic HR projects for India. He has also been Global HR Manager for Eaton and worked with Mahindra. His areas of expertise include HR Strategy, Business Partnering, Leadership Coaching, Employer Branding, Change & Transformation, Talent Management & Development and HR Analytics.

"One of the most important goals of my career is to help people around me align to a common purpose, and as they work toward it, offer them unstinted support to ultimately help them realise their true potential," Shashwat told People Matters.

"At KPIT, I will pursue this goal by working towards a shared purpose of helping the business unleash and realise its potential, entrusting my team, and having a close partnership with business."
