Luxury car manufacturing company Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) India has appointed Rajan Amba as the Managing Ddirector. His appointment will be effective from March 1.

He is set to succeed former MD Rohit Suri, who is due to retire on March 31.

Amba is currently working as the Vice President for sales, marketing and customer care at Tata Motors.

A Mechanical Engineering graduate from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut, Amba has held several top managerial posts at brands like Titan and Nike. Starting as a sales executive at HCL Technologies in 1990 Amba

He also holds MBA in Marketing from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
