Unacademy, a learning platform has announced the appointment of Sandhydeep Purri as the chief people officer. Sandhydeep is a seasoned HR professional with over 25 years of experience in leadership roles across diverse industries and geographies. 

A seasoned HR professional with 25 years of experience in various geographies including Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America markets, Sandhydeep brings a wealth of expertise to Unacademy. She has experience working in manufacturing, media and entertainment, consulting, information technology, retail, and various other sectors. 

Before joining Unacademy, Sandhydeep held the position of chief people officer at Sapphire Foods, overseeing HR strategies for brands like Pizza Hut and KFC. 

Besides Sapphire Foods, she also worked with Aditya Birla Group’s Retail Sector that included, Aditya Birla Retail (now More Retail), Pantaloons Fashion Retail, and Madura Fashion and Garments, including stores and non-store facilities.
