BRITA, the German-based water filtration company, appointed Melanie Aselmann as the new Managing Director for its business in India.  Aselmann takes over from Hartmut Wolf who takes on a global role in the BRITA Group as Director- Product Marketing for Fill & Filter, the core business unit which includes the world-wide BRITA water filter jug.

In her role, she will be responsible for BRITA’s growth in the water purification segment in India, in line with BRITA’s global mission and vision.

Prior to taking on her role at BRITA India, Aselmann headed the Dispenser unit at BRITA Group, Germany as the Product Marketing Director. She was in- charge of developing and managing complete global water dispenser portfolio (B2B and B2C).
