Harappa makes two key leadership appointments

Harappa, one of the India’s leading online institution for behavioral skilling kickstarted its growth plans around December 2020. Now with two major appointments it further strengthens its leadership team. As Harappa plans to double down on its B2C bets and strengthen its B2B presence across the distinct learning experiences and formats its learner base needs, both product and content will be two critical pillars for its business.

Sukhdeep Bhogal joins as Chief Product Officer and Vipul Rathore as Chief Content Officer.

Sukhdeep will be leading and scaling Harappa’s product and digital experiences, contributing to business goals as part of key leadership.

He would be focusing on leveraging tech to enhance access, ease of consumption for learning content and innovate the learning and product journeys.

As Chief Content Officer, Vipul will be leading Harappa’s curriculum.

Sukhdeep joins with over 19 years of experience in scaling digital businesses. Before Harappa, Sukhdeep has been VP Digital & Business Head at Cox & Kings. A serial entrepreneur, he joined the travel company after Cox & Kings acquired his startup called Trotoise. in years of knowledge and expertise. Vipul has more than two decades of experience in online learning and has worked with companies such as Genpact, Accenture, and KPMG. His rich corporate experience could add an important layer of enterprise insight to Harappa’s content offering.

“Over the last two years, we’ve been humbled by the enthusiasm that our learners and partners have demonstrated for our courses and programs, across our enterprise, campus, and independent learner segments. Both Sukhdeep and Vipul join us at an exciting time, as we continue to scale up to meet our ambitious goals of making Harappa a learning institution, of choice, scale, and reputation. We are confident that with them, and our already stellar leadership team firmly in place, 2021 is going to be a monumental year in our growth journey,” added Shreyasi Singh, Founder & CEO, Harappa Education.

Given that there is a sea of edtech startups out there today, how its content and learning experience differentiates from the rest would be key for Harappa.
