PK Singh, CEO, Durgapur Steel Plant has been shortlisted as the new chairman of Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL). His name was recommended for the post by Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) at the end of the deadline of the selection process on Monday. The final appointment will, however, be subject to approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
