Sanjay Jorapur, Chief Human Resource Officer, Hero MotoCorp has stepped down from his position. Sources close to the development have informed People Matters about the recent development. 

Currently, Vijay Sethi (IT&CSR Head) is handling the human resource function in the interim for Hero MotoCorp. 

Sanjay Jorapur joined the organization in September 2014 as Chief Human Resource Officer and was reporting directly to the Chairman, CEO & MD Pawan Munjal. 

Jorapur is veteran in the human resource industry with more than twenty years of experience. He has worked with different organizations such as Wipro, Honeywell, Mindtree, and Alopa. Before joining, Hero MotoCorp, he was associated with Crompton Greaves as Executive Vice President and Global Head of Human Resources. 

Commenting on his movement, he said, “After a little more than 3 and half years with Hero MotoCorp- as the CHRO, I have decided to move on and explore other professional opportunities. Working closely with my professional leadership, it was a wonderful experience in helping build the organization design for a company going global at a rapid pace. We worked to onboard several best minds from the industry; India and abroad in all functional areas while creating many developmental opportunities to grow internal talent, by working with world-class business schools and people development firms.

He added, “Our efforts were directed to enable the best employee experience that an organization can provide to become a global employer of choice by implementing best practices in all people process.”
