The Supreme Court has upheld U.K.Sinha’s appointment as Chairman of the SEBI saying that no procedure was violated in the appointment. The statement came as a result of a bench which was constituted based on a petition filed by Arun Kumar Agarwal to investigate the claim that the appointment violated procedure.
