Shagun Kapur Gogia resigns from Tuscan Ventures

A day before filing nomination for directorship, Shagun Kapur Gogia has resigned from the board of Tuscan Ventures to avoid a possible rejection by the YES Bank board on grounds of 'conflict of interest', Mint reported. Gogia is the daughter of late Ashok Kapur who together with present CEO Rana Kapoor founded YES Bank.

Gogia is the daughter of late Ashok Kapur who together with present CEO Rana Kapoor founded YES Bank.

The Kapur family - Shagun and her mother Madhu - had moved the court on June 6 against the appointment of Diwan Arun Nanda, Ravish Chopra and M.R. Srinivasan on the board of the private lender. While the court declined to stay the appointments, it asked the bank board to consider the nomination of Gogia for directorship on June 27.
