New York: An Indian-origin senior executive at Twitter is planing to quit the social media giant next month, the latest in a string of departures from the company. 

Baljeet Singh, who is Twitter's product lead in charge of video, joined the micro-blogging site nearly two years ago after more than five years at YouTube, tech website Re/code quoted sources as saying. 

The report said Singh oversaw the consumer video product for the main app. 

A Twitter spokesperson confirm to the website that Singh, whose title is senior product director, was leaving.
