Mr. Ujjwal Mukhopadhyay has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Sami Direct India.  Mr. Ujjwal comes with over a decade of Direct Marketing experience and has worked with several large corporations globally. Ujjwal has supported many successful endeavours across, India, Indonesia, Iran, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Philippines, and many other Eastern European countries including Russia.

The appointment of Mr. Ujjwal follows the mutually agreed movement of Rajesh Kumar, former CEO. Mr. Ujjwal will lead Sami Direct initiatives to support members, promote collaboration and innovation, and play a vital role to accelerate Sami Direct India business.

After stepping down as CEO, Rajesh Kumar will continue to be a Director on Sami Direct board, while spending his time along with the Chairman and Madhu Subramanian to focus on global expansion in countries like Bangladesh, GCC countries, Indonesia and Philippines. Mr. Ujjwal will lead Sami Direct initiatives to support members, promote collaboration and innovation, and play a vital role to accelerate Sami Direct India business.
