Internshala launches campaign for Supermoms

Internship resource and career website Internshala has launched its "Internship for Supermoms" campaign with the aim of attracting women back to the work force.

"Nearly 70% Indian women quit work after maternity and later find it difficult to resume. Through this campaign, we're promoting the idea that internships can help such mothers transition back to work" says Sarvesh Agrawal, Founder & CEO Internshala

The campaign will offer paid internships and an opportunity for recent mothers to work from home. Job profiles in the campaign include HR Administration, Social Media and Content Writing. And the companies participating in the initiative are Disney India, Teach for India, Directi, FedExpress, Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance and Godrej.

"Internships for Supermoms" by Internshala will help women, who left work to care for children or aging parents, to navigate their way back in. We at FedEx are excited to support this initiative and look forward to getting access to great talent!," says Udhaya Srinivasan of FedEx

"Directi has always had a culture that has made sure that full flexibility is given to 'New mothers' and 'Moms to be'. This initiative fits right into our culture,"  says Joshua Henry, a recruiter at Directi

The campaign will be open from 8th May to 18th May. Interested applicants can click here
